CD gets displayed as DTS
Well... It isn't a regular CD I would assume...
Is it one you purchased or made? When burning an image of a DTS cd, it will show DTS on the screen when that CD is put in... (And obvisouly, if you buy a DTS cd, it will show that.)
However, when I've made just normal compilation CDs, they do NOT say DTS on them on the screen... If this is what you mean, something is screwy in the data on the CD. As long as it plays, I wouldn't sweat it.

Umm... Dunno. Obviously its not an actual DTS cd as I'm sure you checked the box and the like.
There must be something in the coding of the CD that cause the "error" you are seeing...
Even though it says (on the box) that it isn't DTS... Does it SOUND like there's surround sound??? Maybe you got a "sleeper" DTS CD!
I've had that happen to me once or twice on Bob Marley's "Legend"--the unit lists it as DTS but it isn't. If I eject the disc and put it back in, it corrects itself. This is no big deal because it plays perfectly well either way, it's just puzzling. I have no explanation for it. (Actually when I bought it I thought I was getting a hybrid SACD, but it isn't that either--just a normal CD.)
