Hi All,

I've searched here and elsewhere, but I seem to be the only person who has upgraded the firmware in my TREO 650 to the latest 1.12 and lost my ability to pair with my '05 TL.

I have been using the phone fine (except for that first phone call each time I turn on the car) since 1.08 came out in Nov last year.

I was warned that I would have to re-pair any BT setups once I upgraded. So I upgraded - no probs at all. Phone does do some things faster now (email/less dial delay from the keypad).

When I get to the part in the pairing process where I name this new connection, my TL beeps (the hang-up a call beep) and goes back to the main HFL menu without pairing. I have tried restarting the TL and rebooting the phone.

Ideas?

 

Might want to try a master reset on the phone but make sure you backed up all your stuff before you do it.

 

Well, a few more start and stop cycles of my TL and it paired.

Now I get signal strength on my HID, where I did not before. This is the only change I notice in the HFL.

Anyone see anything different?
