Hacks for Canadian NAV systems.

NAV hacking is a popular topic on here. One very detailed and informative thread for US Nav systems is here.

We need to start a Canadian NAV Hack revolution, mostly to rid of us the nag screen.

Here are some tools to start everyone off. This information is from the US Nav hack thread (here).

TOOLS:
DumpNavi - DumpNAVI by bysin, it extracts and replaces files within BIN file.
Improved DumpNavi - Works with 4.xx NAVI software.
CEBin - CEBin, more feature and less limitation, but harder to use.
Navi-GUI - GUI front end for the DumpNAVI program.

USA Sample Hacks: (possible starting grounds for other hackers)
TLPatch401a.com - AngryDad's trip computer patch.
HMIManager.zip - Kenny's modified trip computer for v3.40c (password: kennyc)
NaviOK401a.com - AD's OK button patch for Navi 3.50
navi.zip - Kenny's modified OK executable for Navi 3.40c (password: kennyc)

 

It's basically the same hack, you just have to find the file that loads up (which is different from that of the US version in the notes) and replace that one for the file in the instructions.
I did it for my '04 TL (and yes I miss my TL since selling it).
