damn, when i searched, some threads were hinting that canda maps are on an entirely different disk that needs to be purchased. if this is true then its a disgrace. if 50 dollar navigation systems have entire continents, how can a 40K car have only one country.

My uncles accord came with both discs...I don't think he purchased anything, came with the car all he did was switch it. I'll check my owners manual tomorrow to see if my car came with one.

paliknight, where are you going? The US Navi disc includes portions of Canada, including POIs, so you might not necessarily need a separate disc. Nova Scotia is not on there except for a small piece down near Yarmouth; PEI and Newfoundland are not on there either. But if you're driving to, say, Quebec City you need not do anything special—just continue on across the border and the maps will continue to reflect where you are.

You might want to switch the units of measurement to metric while you're waiting at Customs so that the Navi's directions reflect what the highway signs say.

You should have no problem at all. Even back with the original disc that came in my 2004 TL when I bought it in 2004, Montreal had full coverage (including POIs). Back then the coverage ended up Autoroute 15 east of Mirabel, but the coverage has been expanded over the years and now I know it goes at least up to Mont-Tremblant.

You should have no problems at all. If you have the street address, tell it that you want to search for an address in Quebec. Off the top of my head I think you can omit the street designators ("rue," "chemin," etc.) the same as you would in English-speaking places where such designators come after the street name (e.g., search for "Rene-Levesque" instead of "boul. Rene-Levesque").

You won't have any problems our Canadian TLs use the same disc just switch the units to km if you want.
