Can you do Simultaneous Dual Side Mirror rotation?

So on some other luxury cars like Lexus, both side mirrors tilt down when in reverse.

But I've noticed that on the Acura TL, only one side tilts at a time. You can specify which side but is there a hack or any type of mod anyone knows of to have both the mirrors simultaneously tilt downwards when you are in reverse?

not a biggie, but it'd be nice.

KP technologies has a unit so both mirrors will tilt down. I believe its 50 dollars of so and requires minor wiring changes.

it can be done, i cannot tell you how but i can confirm that my car use to do it.

when i bought the car i never knew how to turn them off. i use to place my car in reverse and both mirrors would tilt. after reading the forum and learning about my car i learn that i can have only one tilt and i switch the tilt to one side. my car has never gone back to do both tilt so i don't know what it was causing it.

i bought my car used from a private owner, i might punch some button to see if theres a trick to it.

is an 04 but when i bought it about 8 month ago it was doing it everytimes and it was driving me nuts. after a few week and signing to acurazine i posted how to fix this. Then i learn that the mirror switch control the tilt. mine was in one of the side but it was doing both mirrors. i'll push some button to see if i can mimic the effect again.

Both my mirrors tilted two weeks ago when I first got my car and now only the driver side mirror does. I'd much prefer the passenger mirror to tilt to be honest.

Post here if you've got any developments on this...

^ your mirror selector for changes, swap that to 'R' and the passenger side will tilt.

As mentioned, this can be done with the KPT module, but not straight from the factory.

mine does not have kpt module and was doing it right from factory. Other members have reported the same effect so we can look into it and see what it was working before, maybe there still thing we might not know about our vehicle

Solution

In order to have either side mirror tilt downward while reversing, you must have the mirror selector switch on the left or right. If you leave it in the middle like I have, neither mirror will tilt when in reverse. I'm not sure how to set both mirrors to tilt but I found that by having the mirror selector switch on the left, it will tilt the left mirror and when the right is selected, right mirror will tilt.
If anyone finds out how to have both tilt, please post.
