Bypassing stock amplifier. What will happen?
Current set up.
Stock HU ---> Stock amplifier ---> RF 3sixty.2 ---> Speakers
Stock amplifier to RF 3sixty.2 is connected together via speaker level inputs (Not RCA)
I have been doing research on this forum and it seems to be concluded that removing the stock amplifier will remedy the hissing sound. While reviewing the wiring diagram there is a wire coming out of the stock HU going into the stock amplifier that concerns me a bit.
It is the Yellow/Green wire titled "Amplifier (Mute)" in slot B16. I understand by removing the stock amplifier this wire will be hanging loose where nowhere to go. What will happen? What features will I lose?

You will lose the sound from any speaker that you haven't set up aftermarket. You should probably keep the stock amp for the center and rears unless you plan on amping them too. I have gone pre-amp to anything that I have replaced. I never had any hiss, so I don't know about that.
If you have navi, it uses the center speaker.

I am planning to bypassing. Will be using aftermarket amplifiers for all the speakers. I am worried about losing features like navigation voice prompts in the center speakers. I suspect that wire mutes the front speakers when navigation dialogue ques.
Based on this thread response, that mute wire has nothing to do navigation dialogue or utilizing voice commands?
