This is frustrating. One day it worked and connected fine. Then the next, it stops and refuses to connect or even recognize any BT pairing.

Anyway, just venting since it's unlikely I'll ever walk into a dealer.

 

Grab a friend with a BT phone and try to pair it. I had this happen too. Turned out to be my crappy old cell phone.

 

Used to have lots of issues with my old palm 'losing' it's BT pairing with my car.

The following always restored it:
In BT settings:
delete the phone in your car
turn car off
delete the Car from your phone
remove battery from phone

Replace battery in phone and re-pair everything from scratch.

For me, it seemed like the pairing got screwed up every once in awhile (usually when my phone battery died and it disabled BT on its own to save battery) and I had to totally flush the old pairing out of the car and phone before I could re-pair them again.

 

^^ I've tried this already. Originally, I had thought it was the phone crapping out since it did actually die a few days ago. Then got a new phone to use (both Ericsson) and tried to pair. The TL just refused to see the phone.

Now, I do know the phone picks up BT signals because it finds my other gadgets easily and quickly.

Needless to say, I'm stumped and really hope the cause isn't a faulty module.
