BT delay on the T616

I'm wondering if other SE T616/610 users have been getting this annoyance with their phone link. When I hit the answer button on an incoming call or dial out and someone answers, there's a 2 second delay before the other person can hear me say anything. My firmware version is R1B027. It's starting to bug me and I wanted to see if there was a way to change that or if other brands of phones are better about not having an answer delay.

My T610 does give me this delay, but mine is only like one second delay or shorter.

How to check the firmware version? Thanks.

I think mobilezen has posted this before, but the firmware screen is accessed by pressing star, right, star, left, left, star, left, star with the keypad and joystick, respectively, on the main standby screen. Select "Service Info." then "SW Information." The version should be at the top starting with "R."

Is this an issue specific to the SE's? I have a T637 and have the same issue (I just thought it was a delay for the mic to pick up the fact that I was speaking ... If I say "Hello, Hello", they usually hear the second Hello ... then the conversation can begin.

Any non-SE users experiencing this delay on answer?

I have two T616s (mine and my wife's) and they both do this. After you answer you do not hear anything until about a second after the "In Use" is displayed on the MID. I have the same firmware version on both phones.

Has anyone noticed that if you get a busy signal and then hit the phone cancel button, the phone does not hang up. You need to hit the phone button and the cancel button again to disengage the phone.

Yep, that bug has come up before too. As well as when the MID stays in the Phone screen when I start the car. I have to hit the call button and then cancel to get the MID and clock displays out of that screen and back to the odo/trip and the center display back to XM info. cTLgo, does that happen with the V80? This may be a repost, but are there fixes for that out there?
