Browsing through folders on DVD-Audio

i have an '05 TL, very basic, no navi. i learned to burn my own DVD-Audio. i pop it in and it plays fine but i can't seem to find a button to go to the next folder/group. after the last track of the first folder/group is played the first track is repeated.

does such a button exist?

Press the "SCAN" and "REPEAT" button simultaneously.

Keep in mind that when you get the end of Group 1 (or any group), the TL will go to the next disc, not the next group.

IOW - you have to change groups manually before the TL kicks over to the next disc.

Good stuff... How many songs can fit on a DVD? And what format do they need to be in? I was under the impression 05-06 couldn't play MP3s?

They have to be authored to DVD-A format. Look up theads by Adobeman for tools to convert files (Cirlinca Solo, Adobeman DVD-A GUI, etc).

You can start with MP3, FLAC, WAV, whatever, but you have to get them converted to a format that a DVD Authoring program will accept. The Authoring program then makes the DVD-A format (Audio_TS folder, AOB folders, etc).

99 Songs per group; 9 groups available. Max size ~8.3GB.

Anyone know how to access the next folder on a 2009 TSX? The scan button is on the unit itself, but the repeat is on the OSD. Thanks!

Try the TSX forum: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-2009-2014-143/

or the Owners Manual:

EXACTAMUNDO ! and that's why I really dislike groups in the TL. I never use them unless I have different mixes of the same songs in each group. Like small club Adobinizer versions in gp1 and large club Adobinizer versions of the same in gp2

What I've done is place a short song (under 30 seconds) at the end of each group. That's my clue that it's time to hit the SCAN and REPEAT buttons.

Only thing i hated bout DVD-A is that u cant just throw every song it some songs wont convert over and it makes you have to back n reload a new one its annoying...
