Arrow Bread Crumbs

Guys -

I am not getting the usual bread crumbs for off-road tracking even though I have the off-road Tracking ON. I have even turned it off couple of times and turned it back to ON Again...but still no bread crumbs. This started happening after I disconnected the battery for the installation of the AEM CAI 2 weeks ago and after that I am not getting any bread crumbs anymore...

Anyone else has the same issue/experience...?

Are you going off a known road? I get them all the time when I pull into the multilevel parking garage at work. I don't see how an intake mod could affect whether or not you see breadcrumbs. They're strictly a function of how far off the known roads you go.

Yeah I am going off road at the same places where I used to go before and It would show bread crumbs BIG Time before. But now it doesnt show them AL ALL at the same places where it would show them before near my house. I think it might have to do with disconnecting the battery BUT they should come back...I have switched to ON but still no bread crumbs...Is there another setting or something that I need to check???

I've never DC'ed my battery and I've NEVER had breadcrumbs... And yes, I have all the correct things set to YES.

I asked once before but no solutions or comments... Dunno...

I've chalked it up as a loss... I'd like them but I am not too excited about not having them.

Anyone got any ideas???

I am not getting breadcrumbs either..I do have all the right settings and never once i have seen breadcrumbsshow in map either I take my TL off road or in multi level parking garage.
But I did notice that when I am off road for a while and get back on the digitized road, the car location on the map takes a minute or two to show the correct position on the map...

Just a thought, but have you tried adjusting your scale (zoom)?

I believe if you are zoomed out beyond about the second most detailed setting on the navi, the breadcrumbs do not show.

I was in the Orange County airport last night, and noticed little dots on the screen, they made a wave over the runway. This must have been the bread crumbs you talk about.

Check your navi manual for a detailed explanation. In a nutshell, the system will put little white dots on the screen if you've driven far enough off a known road. These dots are basically your footprints, so, in theory, you could follow them back out to the known roads if you get lost.

Maybe thats the key.."Drive far enought off the digitized road".
