Seriously guys. One of my reasons for buying the TL was the DVD-A capability. So I put my favorite disc in and it didn't work. Nothing but silence. So I bought a new one and same problem. Anyone have any issues with DVD-As not playing? I'm so bummed out right now.... Who can I call about this issue?

 

What DVD-A are you talking about? Are you sure its a DVD-A and not, DVD-Video or an SACD? hmm if it was SACD, it would atleast play the stereo track.


Also what year TL did you get?

 

Queensryche Empire. Positive DVD-A. I now have 2 of them. This is one of my fav albums cause of the recording quality. So bummed right now..... Nothing but silence on every track and sometimes I see it count quick like it is skipping. Both play in my PS3.

Does the car still come with a demo DVD-A disk like my 05 came with ? If so, does it play?
Certainly something to have the dealer check out under warranty.

 

I have that Empire DVD-A and it works fine in my 05. Stop by the dealer and try that disk in one of their demos(07's and any older used TLs they may have on the lot). If it works in another 07 then you may have figured out that your radio has issues and maybe they will get you a new one.

Do any other DVD-A albums work in your car?

 

Every DVD-A I've tried works except this one. I'm glad I found someone who has that DVD-A. I will go to the dealer and ask to put in in the same car. OK tell me...have to know... does Empire sound really cool in the car?
