I had two 12" boston G5's in my trunk, the other day when i took them out i noticed my car being so much faster... so i wanna downsize to one as i find myself listening at normal levels and enjoy the SQ of them. I used to have them in a box around 1.1 maybe a little more maybe not..

now that i have more space to make a little bigger box i could if that would help in any way...

so my question is! Should i build the new box to spec. wich is 1cf. or should i make it bigger if that is actually better...


im looking for the best sound quality, i will have it front firing trough the armrest, sealed off from the trunk.

 

Which G5? The G512-4 Only needs 1sf sealed and 2sf ported for each driver.

Bigger is not better in this case. Build the box to recommended specs for best sq.
