Bluetooth Sprint LG350
Bluetooth Sprint LG350
I Just got a Sprint LG 350 Bluetooth phone and was able to pair it with my 2006 Acura TL. I know that Acura sais they are still testing the LG350 but I did not want to wait. The LG325 works well with the TL and the LG folks assured me that the 350 has the same Bluetooth technology as the 325. We'll see????
Glad to hear the good report. I picked up an LG-LX350 two days ago, but haven't hooked it up to the TL yet. From what I've read, this phone is one of the better choices for Sprint customers. My only problem is my house is in a dead zone for sprint. I move three houses away and I have 3 bars. At the house I'm lucky if I get one. Not sure if I'll keep Sprint and the 350, stay with T-Mobile, or try another plan.
As I mentioned on a different thread, I got this phone and it seems to work fine. I can make and receive calls no problem. Battery and signal strength do not show, but other than that everything else works fine.
I want to add a second opinion about the LG 350....
I have a 2006 TL and have been waiting for sprint to get a bluetooth phone that functions properly with bluetooth. I had my hopes set on the Samsung 900 or 920, but no luck. My gf has a LG 325 and has worked well in the car. I define working "well" as a phone that connects automatically with the HFL (not necessary to repair after the first paring), must display caller ID, start and stop phone calls via HFL, and lastly...no static.
So...the LG 350... I picked it up last night it was preinstalled with V12 firmware, i think this is the latest version (haven't checked update as some problems were reported at sprintusers.com). I had no problems paring the phone, and it autorepairs when i get back into the car (I have tested the repairing about 6 times so far). Phone calls seem to work fine (incoming & outgoing). The LCD displays Caller-ID. The logo for signal strength & battery are shown, but no info. The only reason i mention this is that i don't seem to remember seeing them with the LG325. So far so good, it looks like that we may have a good phone for those ppl married to Sprint. I'll post if i see any problems.
FYI: I was able to transfer contacts from my PDA (Dell Axim X50v) to the phone via bluetooth PPO (vcard) but it seem to not transfer all of the phone numbers or such properly. I'll test with my notebook this weekend, gf has liberated the bluetooth card for the notebook.
Cheers.....

Actually mine does work. I thought the number would come up on the center console, which is why I didn't think mine was working. Now when you get a call will the Multi-Information Display switch over HFL display (where the caller ID is shown) or will it stay on display that is currently being viewed?
When you get an incoming call, the Multi-information Display will switch to HFL and show the Caller-ID, battery signal icon, and Signal strength icon (no info for battery and signal for the LG 350 though). Once the call is answered, the Caller-ID goes away and just shows the battery signal and Signal strength icons. The NAV screen (if you have it) will switch to the phone info screen and tell you which buttons to use to answer the call and disconnect the call, no other real information. This screen is maintained till you terminate the phone call.
