Bluetooth Question
Bluetooth Question
How many times during driving do I ask the bluetooth to dial my office and it responds with "star 44?" I seem to find it annoying when you want to make a call but can't get through to the computer who you want due to heater defrost on or sunroof open or any number of other things going on? Can I simply dial the number using the phone but use the car itself to communicate with the recipient? and if so... how?

A suggestion is to lengthen the recorded names. Append "home", "work", or "cell" to the end of names for instance.

If you remember the number, you can simply tell HFL to dial that number "Dial 123-454-7890." I find this way faster than transfering sound from phone to HFL.
Ive found if you talk naturally, as if someone were in the passenger seat and you were talking to them, works best.
And for dialing and then connecting, on my Motorola E815, I just hit Menu and then 'Switch Audio' after I dial and hit send from the phone

If you call via your phone, you can press the HFL and say Transfer and it will switch over to the car audio.
You may also try setting up your office # in your navi and go through the navi to send the phone # to the phone.
