Angry BlueTooth Problems Anyone?

Well.. I was really excited util a few minutes ago. Switched to AT&T and received a SE t616 for free. Lot's of other goodies too.
Went home to link the phone with the car and it failed.
When I push the handset on the steering wheel, no beeps as directed in the manual. After the beeps you are suppose to say "phone setup" and begin... Called the 1800 number and they walked me through each step. Same.... Have to bring it in to the dealer. Like they are going to know what to do.
Very disappointed. Anyone else have this problem?
Might as well just wait till the springs come in.

Do a diagnostic test on the Handsfreelink system - Hold the phone "Back" button on the steering wheel until it goes into the diagnostic mode (about 5-10 seconds). Hope this helps...good luck!

NYTHAWK:
Thanks..
Tried that. Screen reads "Hands Free Link", "Diagnostics Mode"

What do I do in that mode? Is it doing something on its own?

Thanks
Michael

It's a self test mode that displays "Handsfreelink Diagnostics Mode". My TL has Voice Activation that says " Handsfreelink self test is in progress" a couple of times. Then, it says "Handfreelink is OK" and the display goes back to normal. I would guess that if there is a problem, it would give some kind of error message. Otherwise, Handfreelink should be functioning properly.

No Navi?

Anyone else have this problem?
HandFree Diagnostic Mode displays and then goes back to the normal screen. No "Test in Progress"

I took delivery in December and had the identical problem.

I took my TL to dealership where I purchased the car. They had it for two days but couldn’t find time to look at it (during flu season) so I got it back and never went back to that dealership.

I took the car to Sunnyvale Acura in San Jose, CA and they had it fixed in an hour. They replaced the HandsFreeLink control module.

Enjoy your car
