Bluetooth Problem-Moto E815

My wife has been using her Motorola E815 with our 04 TL for about 1 1/2 years without ant problem. Just last Saturday, it stoped working. I notice the icon is no longer on the display. So, tonight when I tried to pair the phone, it does not see it. Bluetooth is on, I've paired this phone before, no problem. But now, no dice.

Could it be the battery is getting old and stopping it from pairing? Any ideas or comments?

Thanks,

Bob

I have an e815 and a 04 TL, and have been using the phone for about 1.5 years also. Earlier this week I had to get a replacement e815 and the pairing went OK. I dont know what the problem could be.. assuming you say 'Next Phone' and it can't find your phone, maybe try on the phone going to bluetooth -> device history and selecting the "Handsfree Link TM" when the car is on to try to force the phone to connect.

Past that, I guess just try to do the pair process all over again.. Since I just did the pairing, I found I had to turn on the "Discover me" for 60 seconds, and then make the PHONE do the search for the acura. This is after you do the Phone Setup and set a key code. At that point the phone should be the one to discover the car, and ask you for the code (instead of the car causing some kind of popup on the phone).

The problem appears to be the phone. We have two E815's. One will pair, one will not. I guess it time for a new phone.

Thanks for the help,

Bob
