hi...

i have sony ericsson T616
and it seems like that i can't pair the phone and the car.
it used to work but now that i deleted the profile on the phone,
i can't re-pair them again.
i've done as the "manual" told me to do.
press the phone "talk" button instead of nave talk button and
saying phone setup..
but there is no response to anything at all, not even the beeping
sound after i press the phone "talk button"!!!
can anyone help me pair the two again?

 

Sounds like your HFL system has frozen or locked up because it should at least beep and go to the "Main" screen on your MID when you press the talk button. I would take the car in and have the dealer take a look at it.

 

make sure bluetooth is turned on on your phone and you have it in discover mode

 

I think the VTEC Roar is correct. You may be able to get it to work by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes but then you will need to input the radio and navi codes to get those two systems working again. Once you have the HFL working you should ensure that you delete the phone before pairing (you can check to see if any phones are paired by asking for status on in the phone setup menu). I made the mistake of deleting my wife's phone and then attempting to re-pair the phone before deleting the phone from the HFL. It would pair but it wouldn't connect afterwords. Once I deleted the phone from the TL and the TL from the phone, I was able to re-pair the phone and everything worked just fine. I hope this helps.
