bluetooth Motorola Razr V3

I am about to upgrade my cell phone so that I can utilize the bluetooth in my 2006 TL. I'm using Cingular and was going to buy the new Razr V3. Has anyone had experience with this phone and is it compatable with the TL system. My whole purpose is to accomodate the car so I'm not married to the idea of the Razr. I'm leaning in that direction becuase I've used Motorola for years and always had good luck with them.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'll be able to reply to this later today, I am picking up my TL later this afternoon (EST). I have a Motorola Razr V3 with Cingular service as well. My understanding is that it will work well in the car, but I don't know that for sure yet. I will update you later after I pair the phone to the new TL.

Razr is HFL compatible. There are numerous threads about this phone (run a search). You can also check this thread.

The razr works fine with the blue tooth in the car. It will show your bars and caller id on the info screen.

I have Cingular RAZR and it rocks with the HFL.

The only thing the display does not show is battery strength, but the sound quality is amazing ... people tell me they often can't even tell I'm on cellphone, much less "speakerphone". It's a perfect BT "marriage", and it made a BT believer out of me.

(Oh and also note when you go BT, POI's can usually be dialed by just pressing an on-screen icon on the screen. Great for restaurant and motel reservations, or checking on other things. Excellent integration.)

Thanks Hawhyen51!

There are many RAZR threads (too many IMO). Please take a look at the link provided above and perform a search if you need more info.
