Hi Everyone,
I just bought 07 TL type S and drove it back from VA to Ohio, and was trying to pair my phone with HFL and noticed that it says HFL is locked and asks for access code, i have tried numerous codes and they dont work and apparently the person who had it before turned it in like that, i know i would need to go to a dealer to get it reset or flushed, anyone knows how to reset the bluetooth access code? it would really help.

I also put up a similar post months ago. I've read a number of different owner's suggestions all leading to taking the car to the dealer. I called two different dealers this morning. Both told me that I would have to replace the HFL unit or try to track down the original owner (which I am currently working on). If anyone else has been able to figure this out without replacing the unit please advise.

I just called up the dealer in VA that i bought the car from, they were closed got connected to Service, service manager told me himself you do not have to replace the unit, all Acura service have unit to flush the hands free link when it is locked. He said the charges are around $115. Going to talk my local dealer and then call the sales person tomorrow who i bought the car from. I will also update you on this.

Had that same problem when I got my 06 a couple months back. Try the standard defaults if you haven't already. 0000, 1234, 9999. Mine was 0000.
