Bluetooth HFL

Bluetooth HFL

I have an 04 Acura TL and wondering if there are any software updates for my bluetooth. The person on the phone is unable to hear me and im getting a few bluetooth connection lost... any suggestions or updates ?

Several people have had similar issues and discovered that their problem was the phone software, rather than the HFL.

What brand & model phone are you using?
It has to be compatible with the HFL, per the Acura HFL website.

Have you successfully used this phone before with the HFL?
If it's an approved phone, check the firmware on it to make sure you have the most recent update.

The settings on the phone have to be set properly per the manual as well with car settings as follows: "auto-answer" OFF and "hands free" activated.

AFAIK, the HFL software cannot be updated.

I am using a Droid 3, my Droid 1 worked fine



settings on my phone is "auto-answer" off and hands free is activated
