When I first got my iphone 4 synced up it used to automatically connect to the bluetooth when a call was initiated. It will still automatically connect when I get in the car, but when I initiate a call out it isn't automatic.

Now let's say I want to make a call manually from the iphone without using the steering wheel buttons. I have to make the call and it stays in regular iphone mode, then on the iphone screen I have to select the Bluetooth option and then it connects and functions normal.

It used to automatically connect when a call was made without that extra manual step. Anyone experience this? Is there an easy fix or setting? Or maybe i'll just re-sync the phone. Anyone?

I dug pretty deep in the Bluetooth spec to figure that one out. See if you can change the settings in your phone.

 

Thanks for the info. If I remember right it may have started happening after I updated my iPhone. I searched the web and it seems like a lot of people had the same issues. iPhone has hardly any settings in bluetooth so it may not be fixable, that sucks.

Anyone with a TL and an iPhone 4 running the latest IOS not have this issue?
