I have a blackberry 7290. Initially, when i paired it with my 04 TL everything worked great. But now i am getting static and echo on all calls. Also, the person on the other side of the call complains that he hears me very very low. I have already tried deleting and re-pairing the phone with the car. Any thoughts? Thanks

 

I have a v600, and notice some static when using HFL. I suspect there is also a slight delay during the conversations. Is this as good as it gets, or could I possibly need new software for the phone?

 

I have an LG325 phone, but these steps give me the best reception:

1. Turn off the Heater/Air Conditioning when you are on the phone. Also, if your sunroof or window is open, close it.

2. Pick up your phone and adjust the volume on the earpiece. Turn it all the way down, you have to probably turn it up on the steering wheel.

I noticed less static on my end and the person on the other end told me that the echo went away. I know we have different phones, but this might help. Let me know what happens.

 

I noticed I had bluetooth encryption enabled on the phone (Device properties). After I disabled it, all the echo and static problems went away. It works great now.

 

Changing encryption doesn't work, nor does muting it. Do these poeple try before they post???
