Bluetooth Draining Battery

I was told recently that the Bluetooth system in the car was draining the battery, causing it to need frequent jumps.

Has anyone ever heard of this? The Bluetooth system is now disconnected and I'd like to reconnect it and use it if possible.

What are your thoughts?

The bluetooth will only drain the battery if the module is failing. If you notice on your MID display that it just says "Booting up..." and never actually connects to your phone than it's not working anymore.

That's how I realized mine failed. I noticed it and than immediately disconnected the module so my battery never died on me.

A new bluetooth module runs ~$200..
