Blue tooth volume, I need help

My phone is linked to my car (2007TL-S) but I can't seem to find anyway to control the volume of the incoming call.

I have tried turning down the volume on the Nav system, the phone and the radio but all calls come in booming.

What am I missing?

Thanks for the anticipated help.

I'm on my fourth phone in the seven years since I've had the TL and I just use the volume control on the steering wheel. Maybe yours is a phone-specific issue? If you post the type of phone you have, perhaps someone else with the same phone might be able to give advice.

And they say there is no such thing as a dumb question. Thanks for your help. The volume control on the steering wheel works just fine

I had tried turning down the Nav and the radio but it never occurred to me to use the steering wheel buttons. Problem solved and please don't tell anyone I'm that stupid.
