Blue Illuminated Door Sills
Your talking about the modified OEM sills that "bp-auto" sold.
I have them. Paid a PRETTY penny for them: $279 to be exact, about a year ago. They're handmade, or hand modded to be exact. Even at $279, I can't see how they'd be worth his time.
Doesn't look to hard ot make... DIY.
As an alternative, Supercomputers makes some nice overlays ya know.

What do these other ones look like that you speak of?
^The Supercomputer ones are overlays. The ones we are talking about are the actual plates that come on the car with the letters modified to light up. You replace the ones in your car with these.

I just spent 4 hours today trying to install them only to be met by problems after problems. At the end of it all we (6 of us) just gave up and put everything back together. The only thing that we've done was set up the tapping and the wires for the rear right without being able to mount the sills onto the OEM sills (fitting issue).
Would probably try again tomorrow...
