I'm worried my sub and drivers side door speaker might be blown after letting my friend run the stereo during a recent road trip. We were listening to various songs on XM and he had the volume pegged to the max. Now I get a rattle from the sub and the driver's side door speaker sounds like it may be crackling a bit. Anyway I can know for sure? The sub sounds like it may be the housing more then anything - like it's not tight. Can I sneak this in under warranty? I only have 2,000 miles on the thing.

 

Sub rattle is a known issue. I took mine to the dealer and they attempted to fix it....not as big a problem now but still get some occasionally. It's not the sub driver that's rattling, it's the rear deck.
