Blinker issues...

Yesterday while driving, I noticed my left turn signal indicator was fading in and out (not steady. Very random). It wasn't blinking. Just fading in, and when it was on, I couldn't use either blinker.

Then, when I COULD use the blinkers, the left one was fast.

I did some googling, and it looks like it may be the flasher relay. Does that sound likely? Advanced Discount Auto Parts wants $91 for a new one. And, they have to special order it for me.

So, last night, the blinkers were working just fine.

Then, on the way home, my left headlight and foglight were out. After a few miles, it came on.

But, I think it's too much of a coincidence that the all the lighting issues are on the same side of the car, and all are having issues at the same time.

I'm gonna take off the front bumper and see if it's a grounding issue.

Just in case anybody stumbles upon this thread in the future, the problem was in fact a bad ground.

When I installed my aftermarket HIDs, I opted for the wiring harness, and I grounded them to the same ground the blinkers and multiple other things use. It's located behind the bumper and air intake resonator. Apparently I didn't tighten the bolt down well enough, and it backed out a bit, therefor not making good contact with all the wires terminating there.
