Blackberry Tour 9630
I'm considering a new Blackberry Tour with Sprint and wanted to know if anyone has had any difficulties paring it with their 2008 TL w/o Navi. ANy comments would be appreciated. It is not listed on the Acure website yet.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have the tour on Verizon and can't pair it. I've tried the search button on the BB while the HFL is searching and both devices still don't find each other.
I've paired several phones to my TL before but no luck with the tour

That suck because I have a Tour too!!! What OS are you running on your Tour? Some of the newer OS's are supposed to address bluetooth issues....(just alt+left captial+h to show the OS you are running...it's App Version....) I don't have my TL yet so I can't test this out...LOL!!

I have a 8350i Nextel and I had no problem pairing it with my 2004. I would hope that bluetooth is bluetooth and it should always work but hey what am I saying it's a messed up world with electronics.

I have a verizon tour and it paired flawlessly with my 04 tl with nav but it still has issues. Most people say they can barely hear me when talking and after a few minutes their voices revert back to the phone itself and the handsfree unit seems to freeze (it will not hang up). When it reverts back to the phone callers say that is when they can hear my voice at a normal volume. HFL sent me an email this morning:
Thank you for contacting us in regards to your HandsFreeLink system.
Unfortunately, the Blackberry Tour is still in pending status meaning we are still currently testing this phone. Our testing is quite rigorous and we cannot state whether it is compatible until we have completed our testing.
We do not have an anticipated completion date for testing. The phone has been through our initial phase and now we are working on some additional tests to ensure it meets our standards before we can state whether or not it's approved.
We are only able to provide support for the compatible phones listed on HandsFreeLink.com. At this time, we don't have any additional information regarding this phone or have any troubleshooting tips.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to a fix?
