Trying to pair my new 9650...It's not listed as a device on Acura's site, but the 9630 is - which is almost the same phone. It says it is not compatiable. However, there is another thread where users are saying it works. They mention a "battery pull" to get it to work, but when do you pull the battery?

I'm not having any issues with the HFL finding my phone, accepting the pin, etc, but when it asks me for the name of the phone I say "blackberry" and then it just pauses for a moment and makes the hang-up sound "bee boop".

Any suggestions?

 

I have mine paired as "GD's phone" and it works fine.

Only issue I've had is when I get a call the HFL rings but when I answer it sends it back to the phone and I have to manually connect the call back to the HFL.

As far as a battery pull, I do one weekly to clear the phone but I didnt do one specifically to pair.

I don't remember specifically doing a battery pull, but my Tour works. I also have the same issue the other guy does. Occasionally when I answer a call it goes back to the phone and I have to pick it up or send it back to the HFL.
