Anyones audio system stop working after you put in a CD?

So my audio system has been acting up now. When ever I try to play any CDs, I don't get any audio and if I switch radio or XM, that doesn't work either. I have to actually restart the car in order for it to work again. Anyway this an easy fix or something big like have the multi-CD player replaced? BTW, car is equipped with nav. I have about 3.3k miles left on my extended warranty so I'm hoping it's something that's covered.

The CD player has to be replaced, and make sure with one of the same pt# (found on the cassette cover) or else some features might not work properly. Mine was replaced with a different # and then my bluetooth and navi speaker wasn't working.

Mine did the same thing. Radio has to be replaced. I got one from a junkyard for $200, you might find one cheaper.

It's not that hard to get it out, just alot of "clip poppin", good luck
