I have the jl audio ZR650-CSi all 4 speakers and love them

 

I'm wanting to change out the door speakers, thinking about the Infinity 6391 6.5" 3-way speakers. I just wanted to make sure that these speakers will be an easy fit and also sound pretty decent.

JL audio speakers all the way...

 

It really is personal taste. I love the JL subs but can't stand their components. To me, my IDs sound better than my friend's ZRs and for 1/5 the price.

 

JL c2 650 and 650x... AMAZING!!!!! its too good almost!

 

Based largely on IHC's recommendation I got these ID CX64 components and a pair of CX 64 Mid Woofers for the back.

 

nice pickup. I will be buying the same ctx's in the next few weeks, also let me know how the mid range id's work for you. I may have to pick those up as well.

 

It is he same mid bass as the component. I got the same ones to keep them the same as in front.

 

wow you really spent some money on this setup i bet it will be well worth the money. Are you going to run these of the stock amp or do you have an aftermarket one?

 

I totaled my CLs.

I have an Alpine Mrp F550, that came out of it, these are going in the 06 350Z I replaced the Cl with.

 

Nice upgrade I cant seem to make up my mind on what amps i want to get. I was thinking alpines at first but now there are so many good amps to choose from.

I have Currently *** 15in Kicker Solo baric L7, Rockford Fosgate T-1500-1BD, Stinger 2 Farad Capacitor

i just need help with choosing a OEM interface, so i can use my Stock navi in my 2007 Acura Tl Type-s. i have been looking at the Alpine Vehicle Imprint, but im not sure if i should just do a custom radio install and just put an Alpine in?!

I also need help on choosing the Speakers, my price range is $600-900.

tapers off a 40hz... if u can tune it to exact specs why not? subs playing 28-65hz it sounds pretty amazing

 

Many reasons not to. Try 60hz or higher and it will sound better and the little 6.5" mids will thank you for not pushing them down to 40hz.

 

I honestly don't see the purpose of having your mid play down to 40 when u have a sub.

40-63hz is sub territory and you have a whimpy 5.25" speaker playing that low. I hope you only listen to music @ reference levels.

High pass your mids @ 80 and low pass your sub @ 80.

If you had a beefy 6.5 or an 8 in the door, 63hz would be more forgiving.

 

you need to get LOCs and you can add a aftermarket amp the factory alpine, mine sounds amazing: JL 12w3, 600/6amp, 4 c2 650s

youll need to disconnect the rear Noise Cancellation Microphone, very easy! and I like JL 650s for speakers

 

Driver door is done. It was easier in some aspects & harder in others. The Image Dynamics tweeter is HUGE!!!












It will more likely than not be Saturday before I can do the passenger side, tomorrow the car is at the shop all day headers, cat deletes & pulleys go on & Friday 7:30 dealer appointment for a new gauge cluster.
