Did anyone see that BestBuy has a great deal with Cingular wireless to get the Motorola V551 for free? Anyone use this phone successfully with our TL???? Input please, as this seems to be a great deal for a bluetooth!

Also, anyone in Iowa use cingular? Specifically northern Iowa. Just curious on the coverage. Thanks!

 

I have Cingular and that phone. (Live in Texas though)

That phone works great w/ the TL. It doesn't show battery strength but shows signal strength. (I really don't care about the battery meter)

I have had great luck w/ my HFL and my v551. Zero problems to date. I say get it! I paid $200 for my V551!

 

That's a great deal! Do a forum search for "v551" and you'll see numerous threads including one or two started by me. I believe it to be one of the best GSM phones out there and one of the best HFL phones as well. I don't care about battery meter since the v551 battery life is great!

 

The Cingular V551 works great with the TL. No battery indicator, but that seems to be the norm with Motorola phones.
