Best burnt CD format?

I have an unmodified 2004 non-navi and looking to play LOTS of my music. What format should I use that can give me the most songs at a close to CD quality? Hoping for about 100 per disc.

Probably best if you just skip the whole DVD-A ideal and get yourself a USASpec BT45-HON unit to put in your trunk. That way you can play literally tens of thousands of songs at close to CD quality from your phone.

Yes I was looking into putting in this device but all I came across was the one where you have to put it under the dash. Never seen a post putting in the trunk area? If you don't mind, could you please forward a link to this install?

There are a few threads on the installation here on this forum; I did mine in a matter of about a half hour and used Velcro to stick the little box to the top of the trunk area behind the rear seat.
