Best bang for buck audio setup?

Hey all,

Trying to figure out the best bang for my buck in terms of audio entertainment for my 06 TL. As of right now I still have stock speakers + amp but I wanna change that. I really don't wanna be that guy you can hear 4 blocks away with the bass shaking down your windows but I definitely want something louder to get me going. It's kinda sad how my bud's Camry is louder then my TL, guess my stock amp is going too so I gotta get that looked at.

Anyways, I got a decent amount of cash to spare but I also got other planned projects for the TL (rims, body kit, exhaust, etc) so I'm not trying to go overboard. Probs gonna go with a grand for audio alone. What I have in mind is the Rockford Fosgate PBR300 plug-n-play @ $150 but the only downside is, it runs a bit hot and it's only got 4 channels. I wanna retain the sub, don't really care for the center speaker though. Buying a new sub and another amp doesn't bother me but the install does. So should I just take it to an audio shop and let them deal with it or what? What should my price be for their services?

Was following this thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/feeler-plug-play-factory-amp-replacement-834940/

But it's slightly dated and was wondering if there are better options in 2014. Thx guys.

I skimmed through the thread and it seems like a lot of work!

I already installed isimple and while it was simple it did take a good 2 half days to remove everything and put it back together. Can't be doing trial and error with school. Could you possibly assemble a guide or point me in the right direction? Thx!

It is a 1K system including iSimple. The work has been done for you there is no trial and error. If your not able to do the work yourself and you will be paying someone for the install 1K will not go far
