Question best alarm for my tl

wats up.....i recently purchased a 06 tl with navi and i come 2 find out that the passive alarm these guys install at the dealer is very shitty.......i want 2 install an alarm that will make me feel safe knowing my car is not with someone else after i park it.......so which is best...iam willing 2 spend up a 1,000 for a good alarm..........thanxxx

da best alarm is a clifford avant gaurd g5....or if u wanna spend the full $1000 get the clifford avant guard 5.5...hope this helps

clifford is a good alarm. i have the same problem like u. so i went out and got a Intelliguard 750 clifford put in my 04tl. just make sure who install it is around to help you adjust and show u how to set it the way u want.

I agree. Insurance is there to cover you if your car is stolen. Anyway, no alarm is going to stop a determined thief. There is no alarm that will stop a flatbed from taking it.
If you really want to stop someone from taking your car, put an ignition and fuel pump kill switch in and get a hydraulic brake locking system. It will still not stop someone who really wants your car bad, but it will be a real b*tch for them to get past all that. Unless they use the flatbed to drag your car up it, they will probably need at least 30-45 minutes minimum working feverishly to try to get past the kills and locking system.
