Auxilary inputs
Auxilary inputs
I'm a bit confused as to which port in the back of the OEM unit I would use for an AUX input, I purchased an:
http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piehon03pcson.html
which i'm assuming plugs in the NAV port with the use of a Y connector but now I've found this:
http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piex3hon03.html
which apparently will connect to the XM port and provides a pass thru for XM radio when the other device will disable XM.
Does anyone know if the P.I.E. X3-HON03 X3 will allow you to add an aux source and keep your XM?

Why? I'm aware of this device and if you read my post you'll see that I'm looking for information on which port is used for external inputs. You've provided no information on that and the device you've posted will disable XM and I'm looking for a device that won't disable XM.

The only way i know of is to get a JL Cleansweep installed. (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2184473/1)
Toronto-TL neither of those will work as both require you to disable XM. I used a PAC line-in splitter and spliced it into the audio between the XM receiver and the headunit. There's another thread around here that shows how to build your own using relays.
There's a Y-cable part for Hondas that I think you could use to avoid cutting and splicing your car's system, but either way your gonna have to make some of your own connections.
