Aux on Type S
Picked up an '07 Type S last week. Did the Type S's come with ipod jacks or connections or do you just supply your own. I know it has the plug but mine did not have any jacks/wires. Thanks

Advanced
The jack in the center console is a headphone jack that connects in to the headphone jack on the Ipod. You have to control the IPOD manually and not thru the radio controls. It works fine

Thanks but my question was does the Type S come with the jacks or connections or are they supplied by "me"? Thanks

Burning Brakes
^^^a jack is just the hole where you plug the cable in. you cant really supply it. but the cable that connects your ipod to your car does NOT come with the car. you need to buy it.

Cecil,
I bought my cable at Radio Shack for $5.00. Be sure to the a cable that's at least one foot long. It's a bitch to plug in because it's difficult to see the plug-once you open the armrest. I just left my cable plugged in and ran it up through the hole in the upper tray and left it sitting in the top tray. That way, it's there and hooked up whenever I want to use my iPod in the car.

You're welcome Cecil. I know what you mean about the mileage. I've been averaging about 19 miles per gallon. We've got alittle snow here in KC, so no claybar for me for a while.
