Hello all,

I just leased an '08 TL this weekend and love everything about the car so far. The only part that i'm confused about is why there is no hole in the center console to run the aux wire through. My girlfriend has the TSX and her aux jack is located in the same place as mine, but, she also has a hole on the console lid to that you can run the wire through it and hold the IPod outside the console. The TL seems to be missing this feature. It's not that big of a deal since i can just slam the console door shut over the wire, or just leave the IPod inside the center console. I just find it strange that the '07 TSX has that small feature but the '08 TL does not.

Has anyone else run into this issue? And if so, have you found a way to work around the problem?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

My 2008 has a hole toward the back of the bottom lid. Then a notch in the front part of the bottom lid for the cable to come up thru the bottom lid and out the front of it.

I've been looking all week in the top lid, and lower console, never checked the middle lid till now.

I have an 04 and all this time never new the notch was there. Did find it annoying having to put my phone in the console to charge it and always forgot and left my phone in the car. You do learn something new from time to time...amazing.

Weird. I have an 04 as well, but no notch.

The '04 does not have the notch on the undertray, but you can replace the undertray from an '07 and up for about $35.00 and five minutes of your time.
