Auto Function for Rear Camera

Has anybody wired up their rear camera to turn on automatically when the car goes into reserve? I searched around and see that most ppl have theirs on a toggle switch

I'm guessing you have an 04-06 TL with the navtool or Doms TVNAV2Go.

If you want the camera to function like that, it's really easy! Instead of wiring a switch for it, take the power wire on the switch and twist it onto the power wire of the camera. Then take those two wires and tap into the reverse lights. Then take the ground/neg. side of the switch and simply ground it anywhere.

That way when you put your car in reverse, the reverse lights will power the camera up and supply the 12v. Needed to switch the sources with the navi-converters.
