guys, sorry for a simple first post but i am lost. i read manual and still cant figure out how to make my doors auto lock. i used the display on dash, went to "keyless remote" section and where it says "auto lock doors" and the > is next to OFF...i cant change it to ON to save my life. held the "select/reset" button in, tried holding the arrow to the right to enter that section and nothing. it wont let me change any setting to do with the door locks.

i did the remote thing where i held lock/unlock button down at same time...no different.

i should mention (dont know if it matters) i bought the car used a week ago and only received 1 keychain remote and it happens to be remote #2.

any help would be greatly appreciated and get my girlfriend off my back. shes afraid someone will jump in the car and rob us while we're driving

When in keyless remote and your on the auto lock doors hit the down arrow. You should be able to choose. If you hit the up arrow it will take you back to the start.

 

the arrows go left to right so not sure about "down" arrow? i tried the left to right to no avail
