Audiovox xv6600 & Verizon & Bluetooth
I would check the 3G TL Bluetooth Phone Compatibility group. This is the same phone as the i-mate PDA2K, see link below:There are folks who have had difficulty getting it to pair until they update the firmware. This group can give you some guidance.
Personally, I'm waiting for to see the Samsung i730 before I make up my mind on which Verizon phone to get. Hopefully they won't cripple the phone like they did the V710.

Just installed the newly released ROM upgrade and everything works fine now with the HFL. Dials out and receives calls. No battery or signla strength.

Problems with AudioVox XV6600
I got my Audiovox and paired it easily. I could receive calls via HFL, but not dial out...however, if I dialed via the phone...it came through the HFL.
Then I upgraded the firmware, and now when I dial out through the HFL, it seems to work but nothing (no audio) comes through the HFL, though the screen says "IN USE" and the phone is working (if I hold it up to me ear, I can use it normally.
I talked to AudioVox support, they admitted the problem. Claim to be working on it but no promises as when there may be a fix.
This sucks. Anyone have any ideas?

I love this phone. This is the best pocket pc/phone that I have owned. I also had the Thera and the samsung i700.

have you tried to dial out from the phone first and have the transfer fail? After that you should be ok. Also you may want to try to download the 3900 BT patch from pdaphonehome.com. That patch seems to make the HFL issues go away.
