Audio very low

The volume stays very low on my 2005 TL. When I turn the volume up to max it can hardly be heard. Well, not like it should at least. Sub does not thump at all and the other speakers are weak as well. Is this the amp, receiver, or the speakers. I am looking to replace the receiver for something like a bluetooth, usb, aux,cd player. Would that be something to suggest a fix to my problem? Thanks to all.

^It's the OEM Amplifier. It is in the passengers side kick panel. Quite expensive through the dealer/online vendors. I had my amp fixed by a car stereo place, in Orlando Florida.....some info in the link below......

I agree, it's def the OEM amp. You can find used ones on ebay or if you have decent wiring skills, it's not hard to wire in an aftermarket amp. Much better sound quality, IMO.
