Talking Audio System doesn't work when car is cold!!

Hello,

Before I go into the problem, I have a 2005 TL, Automatic with no nav.

Have you guys encountered this:

I kept the car last week outside. I live in PA so it gets quite cold. The next morning I turned the audio system and nothing was coming out from the speakers. I just heard a lot of pops (hard to explain), and at brief moments (seconds) the sound would come back. It also occurs in CD mode. Now, the problem goes away when the cars warms up or drive for 10 min.

If I keep the car in the garage (which I am doing now), I have no problems.

The system seems to be working with no problems at this moment but I can recreate the problem by keeping the car outside. (well, easy solution is to keep the car inside!!)

Before I go to Acura delear I wanted to see if you had any similar experiences?. Is this normal?

Thanks for the help,
arebelo

Yeah go get that checked out, it's not normal. I live in NY and my car sat outside for two and a half days this past weekend without being started. I started it this morning (it was 9 degrees) and my stereo was just as loud as it was when I shut the car off on Friday.

I find that the Navi screen seems to be a little bit darker when it is down in the single digits like it has been at night lately, but that's all I've noticed. Never had a stereo problem.

Thanks for the help. I will take the car to the dealer. Let's see what dealer tells me.
