Unhappy

Yes, car started right away. My Olds Achieva will shut itself completly off if there is no activity in 21 days, thus loose audio settings and presets like this did. Don't recall reading such a feature in TL's manual. Driver 1 and 2, and XM1 presets were retained fine. Sound, XM2, all FMs gone.

Sounds like you may have the dreaded temperature flatine problem, check if you have 3 dashes (---) instead of the temperature and also if your rear defroster is working. If so you have to take it in for repair. There is (at least with mine and a few others here) a problem in the fuse box. I suggest you do a search for temperature flatline in the Problems & Fixes section.

Good luck.

I had this happen as well a few days after I installed my intake. I check the settings after I put the battery back in the car, all was good. A few days later, I go to start it, and all of my presets are gone and everything. About 1 hour later when I get back in again, everything is back.....wierd

Did you by chance use the other key fob ? The radio, climate, seat and mirrors are all key fob specific. I got in the car with "Driver 2" one day and everything was all f-ed up. Hopped out and got the other key fob and all was right again
