I got my subs done at Custom Sounds off 183 & Burnet. They spliced into the factory sub outputs so I have control over them with my factory head unit. I think they did a nice job.

millerrh,

So your shop spliced the RCA's onto the factory wires? Was this before or after the stock amp if you know? I have Navone LOC's now and I am having trouble with SQ at higher gains. Thanks.

I believe it was after the amp. I think they spliced into the signal wires coming into the stock woofer. However, I didn't specifically ask them that so I'm not 100% certain. I also don't think they used any line converters, although now that I think of that, I wonder how it could sound OK with a double amplified signal. Had that in my last car for about 2 weeks until the SQ was so bad I ripped the old amp out. Whatever they did seemed to have worked. Since they are subs and SQ his harder to distinguish without the higher frequency, I might just not notice it.
