Attempting a DIY! For aftermarker speakers and amp! Interested?
Who's interested if i do a DIY. Its going to be my first DIY so i really have no clue. Some members have asked me because they want to run the same setup as me. Polk db6501 components in the front and Polk db651s in the rear. Previously without an aftermarket amplifier i had infinity reference 1031t tweeters and Polk db651s in the front. and the tweeters made a HUGE difference, although the infinities high's are really piercing. anyways im looking for advice on this diy im attempting with very little experience. its basically for people to look at what i did and how i did it. So when i do make it please feel free for questions any suggestions before i do make it? Also im going to be using a 100x4 rms amplifier and alpine not sure which one though.

About your setup, I think you should reconsider spending money on the rears. You will never heard the difference up front. If you can save $50-$100, put it into the front stage.
I've got a pretty nice system and my rears are still stock. If there was something to gain I would have replaced them. Hook your amp up to the stock rears and I think you will be surprised.

It would still be nice to have another. The more ideas the better.

well i would of done that but the problem is i already have db651s in the front the one with the tweeter and im putting a component set in the front so i might aswell put them in the rear. besides lets see how the speakers run in the rear! the coaxials i think that what there called the speaker with the tweeters.
