I have been trying to get my homelink on my TL to open my gate to the Apartment not luck. I hold the homelink button and press the remote control no luck. Not sure if I can go to the gate opener and press the learning button its an apartment gate. any ideas

 

I have reprogrammed my homelink with three different gates. Did you do what it says in the manual? Ex: hold the remote to the homelink till it starts flashing rapidly? I thought mine wasn't working with my new apartment gate till I realized I just wasn't close enough to the gate. I programmed it three times because I thought it wasn't working. If all else fails, try clearing out all your homelinks and reprogram them again.

 

Home Link requires me to be much closer to my gate opener (maybe 15 feet from the receiver) than to my garage opener (up to about 50 feet). Not all units are created equal.
