no this isnt really HFL related.

i have a bluetooth handfree because i know HFL doesnt work with the phone.
i have a problem with the phone because the backlit doesnt turn off when its in my car, but once i get out, the backlit turns off? even when my handsfree is turned off. i checked in control panel and turned the "Car" backlit to "off". but the regualr is still in auto mode. i set my bluetooth in my phone so its not visiblwe to others. so i dont think its detecting the HFL when its in the car.

is there anyway i can either shut off hfl to give it a try(when i press it in the car it says no info avaliable)

the fact that the light is always on drains my battery because it uses so much battery even when in standby

Do you plug your P900 into the car charger each time you get in the car? It is not necessary if you do so. Also, are you using a generic car charger? If so, it may have shorted something in your phone and possibly voided your warranty.

 

nope, no car charger, i use the original SE charger with the base. its only on when i get in the car, when im out of my car, the light goes off
