Question Anyone know what this doo-dad on the dash is?

Anyone know what this square, sensor-like thing on the driver's side dash is? (see first two pics below)

I know that the round sensor of the passenger's side (third pic below) is the light sensor for the automatic headlights function, but can't figure out what the square thing is.

Most cars with automatic headlights have 2 light sensors on both sides of the dash. However in this case I beleive that is a humidity sensor for the automatic climate control. Check the owners manual in the climate section.

Thx for the feedback and suggestion. The owner's manual says that there's a temperature sensor for the climate control system located next to the steering column. However, it makes no mention of a humidity sensor (on the dash or anywhere else in the car). Still puzzled and wondering how to confirm what this square thing is....

So, both the round sensor (on the passenger's side; third picture in original post) and the square sensor on the driver's side dash (first two pics in original post) are light sensor's for the auto headlights?? If so, wondering why the owner's manual explicitly refers to the round sensor on the passenger's side, but makes no mention of another sensor?? Am I missing something?

Aaaaand, "mystery" solved. Seems like the owner's manual for the '07 TL is slightly (actually really) misleading....

The round light sensor must be for the climate control as i don't have auto lamps.

The round sensor is a sunlight sensor for the climate control-- it triggers the climate control to blow more cool air when the sun shines on it directly.

The square sensor must be for the auto headlights, as the '04-'06 TLs don't have it.
