I upgraded my ground system, but not really for audio. But it will work I guess.

Has it helped with the power loss when AC is on?

Maybe slightly, but i dont think it would be noticable.

It you had a lot of power being used, then i could see where it would help, but not just from the AC.

I think IHateCars has a thread about this....have you replaced your battery lately? A new battery seemed to help a few other members during these hot months, who were suffering from power loss.

Don't replace them, just add to them. I did mine in 0 gauge, but mostly for audio.

I agree. If you just add grounds, it's really hard to screw something up. If you replace them, you can make things worse if you're not good at crimping/soldering/connecting.

Mine are all added ground wires. I did this super early on in ownership so I cant tell how much it has affected things, but I have never had any battery issues or any sever loss of power other than some minor heatsoak.

Yeh I felt a pretty severe loss of power on the 103F day going uphill with AC on.

The battery doesn't seem all that strong. I need to get around to having it tested.

Have it charged up at Autozone.

$0 mod.

Tell them to give it two rounds of charge.

BTW, I'll be doing a write-up for the Big 3 once I get my 0 awg in.

The thread I started only applies to a very small percentage of TLs. Power loss is normal in the heat. Unless your TL feels like it lost 50% of it's power and you can barely keep up with traffic at 3/4 throttle and it surges and bucks and hesitates during normal driving, grounds and/or batteries aren't going to help.

yes this notion is starting to get out of hand!
heatsoak and parasitic loss to AC is a reality!

only the most unusual situation where the car performs well below acceptable is a new battery recommended. This car is obviously susceptible to voltage and ground anomalies but cannot excuse the fact that this is essentially a heavy 4 door sedan and has the perfomance as such.

Enjoy your heavy honda
